KARA A. DAVIS joined HPSS Law in February 2026 as an Associate of the firm, with depths of expertise in Commercial Litigation, Commercial Contracts, Employment Law, Real Estate Property Disputes, Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights, and General Construction Law.
Prior to joining HPSS, Kara worked of counsel at Stanley Esrey & Buckley, LLP where she devoted the past decade to representing clients in both state and federal trial and appellate courts in various commercial business controversies, including: contract disputes, employment disputes, real property disputes, collection matters and creditor’s rights issues. Davis also gained impressive experience at Ray & Sherman, LLC where she worked in the trail practice group specializing in healthcare and commercial litigation. Earlier in her career, she was an associate at Morris Manning & Martin, LLP as well as Cashin, Morton, & Mullins, LLP, where she collectively tried cases involving commercial litigation, general business disputes, creditor’s rights and bankruptcy law.
Kara earned her law degree at Washington & Lee University School of Law, in Lexington, VA. She received her undergraduate degree from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, VA, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Art.
